Vernon Community Arts Center Hosting AAA Exhibition

National exhibit comes to town.

The Vernon Community Arts Center is now hosting the Academic Artists Association's 63rd Annual National Exhibition.

The exhibit features "original oil paintings, water colors, graphics, pastels, and sculptures," according to the arts center Web site.

Vernon resident and artist Barbara Groff told the Reminder News that it is nice to have the show in town. “It's wonderful to have it here,” Groff said.

“I've heard nothing but positive comments. It's a wonderful venue, and I hope we continue to have the exhibit here," she said.

The gallery is open from 1-5 p.m. through Aug. 10.
