Students showcase their talents.

Vernon's Lake Street Elementary School spent the night celebrating fine art.

The evening began with the orchestral band consisting of fourth- and fifth-graders. Kelly Gansberg, the fifth-grade band director, explains, "The students begin learning their instrument in the beginning of this year and its amazing what they can do in one year."

Following the band was the Lake Street Choir.

Family and friends also enjoyed viewing the art works covering every hallway in the school. Art teacher, Keith Giard, states "We have everything from painting, drawings, sculpture, mixed media. The kids at Lake Street benefit tremendously from the art program here."
