2011 Summer Movie Fest at Rockville Public Library

Library patrons voted for the movies they wanted shown in this year's Summer Movie Fest. The public is invited to “drive in” every Tuesday evening at 6 p.m.  from June 28 through September 13 for a free movie and popcorn in the air-conditioned Edith Peck Room on the library’s lower level. 

Here is the schedule based on what movie fans picked:

• June 28– “From Here to Eternity.”

• July 5– “On the Waterfront.”

• July 12– “Arsenic and Old Lace.”

• July 19– “The Maltese Falcon.”

• July 26– “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.”

• Aug. 2– “The Bridge on the River Kwai.”

• Aug. 9-  “Some Like It Hot.”

• Aug. 16-  “Citizen Kane.”

• Aug. 23– “All About Eve.”• Sept 6-  “Casablanca.”

• Sept 13-  “West Side Story.”
