Sunday brought the sledding enthusiasts out to the hill adjacent to the athletic fields at Vernon Center Middle School.
The hill is one of the most popular in the area for families, kids out to have a little winter fun and even church groups.
The going was pretty good, but as the afternoon wore on and temperatures remained in the 40s, the snow cover began to thin out and several bare patches began to appear.
