Tickets Available for Saturday's Miss Rockville Pageant.
Tickets will be available at the door.
Tickets for the Miss Greater Rockville Scholarship Pageant will be available at the door.
The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Saturday at Rockville High School.
Tickets are $15 ($10 for seniors and children younger than 10).
More than $1,000 in scholarships and prizes will be awarded in the pageant winner, runner-up and Miss Congeniality winner.
Young women 17 to 24 who are graduating this year or receiving their GED by July 1 are competing. Contestants must be U.S. citizens and residents of Connecticut (or work or go to school in the state full-time).
Scholarships can be applied to student loans.
The Rockville Community Alliance, a local community service group, has partnered with the state level of the Miss America Organization to sponsor the event.
Miss Connecticut Morgan Amarone was in town recently to promote the event.
