Talcottville Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony Steps Off Sunday
Talcott family was well-represented at ceremonies.
The Parade route was a short one, from Talcottville Church at 10 Elm Hill Road to Mt. Hope Cemetery.
But the Talcottville Memorial Day Parade was rich in history.
World War II veteran John Talcott Jr. 103, and Vietnam-Era veteran John Talcott III participated in the parade and ceremony.

A moving ceremony was held at Mt. Hope Cemetery that ended with the playing of Taps.
