TOWN OF VERNON – CRACK SEALING

The Town of Vernon will be crack sealing streets in various areas throughout town starting Monday, July 8, 2013.  This work will involve applying joint and crack seal materials (an asphalt tar looking material) to the various cracks and voids within the street areas.  This material is generally able to be driven on within an hour after application and provides a means of keeping water from getting under the street which extends the longevity of the overall street system.

Please proceed with caution in these areas.  We apologize for any inconvenience citizens may experience while these maintenance tasks are completed and thank you for your patience.  Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Town of Vernon Public Works Department at 860-870-3500.
