Road Work A Hot Commodity In Vernon This Week
Temperatures are forecast to be in the 90s all week.
Monday morning was one of those starts to the week when a highway crew just dreaded looking at its assignment.
"Ugh it's hot," a whole team said collectively as it was patching cracks on Crestridge Drive on Monday.
But the Vernon DPW workers were all smiles as they progressed up the street and greeted residents along the way.
One question prevailed.
"So how much water will you all drink today?
"A lot," one crew member said.
