Neighborhood Buzz: Vernon's Snowstorm Chatter

What are you up to in this storm? We've created a space to chat in, sort of like a virtual coffee shop!

Written by Gary Jeanfaivre and Jaimie Cura

The kids are home from school. The snow is super heavy — and, if you're like me, the idea of shoveling it is not really all that appealing right now.

Or maybe you and your dog have ventured out, like Mr. Bojangles did. I've always thought there was a shortage of your pet pictures on Patch. Want to help me change that?

Or maybe you're sitting in the comfort of our homes, staring out at the beautiful snow wondering what's going on out there in town.

Is my favorite bagel shop open? Is my elderly neighbor up the street OK, or does anyone need a helping hand from a neighbor? Has your road been plowed yet?

Because one of the things we like to do at Patch is connect neighbors and help people out, we've created this space for everyone to weigh in ... a community forum, if you will.

And don't feel limited to the questions above. Maybe you are making something awesome to eat and you want to share what it is with everyone. Perhaps you are looking for ideas of activities to do with your kids today, or just have to tell everyone about an awesome movie that's on TV.

So, what's going on with you and your neighborhood?
