National Night Out in Rockville Scheduled for Aug. 6

Tuesday, Aug. 6, the Rockville Community Alliance, in conjunction with the Vernon Parks and Recreation Department and the Vernon Police Department, is sponsoring National Night Out in Central Park, Rockville.
The festivities are slated for 5-8 p.m. Rain date is Aug. 7.
National Night Out - which is celebrated in communities across the United States - is geared toward families and attracts thousands to downtown Rockville each summer. The event features a block party, entertainment, contests and youth programs.
