March 3, 2011: Some Wind and Some Tweeting

Legendary rock band is coming to the area, but the tickets might be considered expensive.

1. The wind will give way to sunshine today, but the temperatures will be in the low 20s.

2. State Rep. Claire Janowski was at Maple Street School on Wednesday to kick off national Read Across America Week.

In addressing the students, Janowski stressed the importance of reading on one’s own or by having a parent, sibling or guardian read to them.


“Both ways are great for developing listening, learning skills and the discovery of new things,” Rep. Janowski said.

Mayor Jason McCoy read "Green Eggs and Ham'' to commemorate the birthday of Dr. Seuss.
