Local Young Marines Celebrate Flag Day
The Central Connecticut unit is based in Vernon.
The Central Connecticut Young Marines decorated three locations in Vernon in celebration of Flag Day.
The entrance to Rockville High School and Vernon Center Middle School have been adorned with flags.
The Young Marines also lined the fence around the Old Dobson cemetery at the corner of Talcottville Road and Dobson Road with flags.
These activities were done to raise awareness of the American flag and celebrate Flag Day.
