Lights Will be on at Henry Park for Night Sledding

The lights are scheduled to be on nightly.

Henry Park will be open for night sledding this weekend.

The natural snow on the ground has allowed the Vernon Parks and Recreation Department to open the hill and keep the lights on from dusk until 10 p.m. daily, conditions permitting, Parks and Recreation officials said.

The lights are situated on the hill in the center of the park, just below Fox Hill Tower, leading down to the swimming pool and parking lot.

The lights were installed for night sledding in 2011.
