4. U.S. Rep. Joseph Courtney will host a public forum at the Florence Mill Apartments today to discuss the House Republican plan to privatize Medicare. Courtney will be joined at the forum by State Rep. Claire Janowski. The program, which is open to the public, will include brief remarks from Courtney and Janowski, as well as a questions-and-answer session. It is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
