The Tuesday morning fog in Vernon Center provided the perfect backdrop to usher in October at Strong Farm.
The scarecrows began arriving on Sunday and Monday along Peterson Road.
Entry forms are now being accepted for the farm's second-annual scarecrow contest.
There is no cost to enter. Scarecrows will be displayed during the contest along the farm’s fence posts on Peterson Road.
For more information about the contest go to the link at www.strongfarm.org or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
