Hurricane Sandy: Red Cross Says Wednesday Drive in Vernon is Critical

The drive is slated for Court House Plus.

The American Red Cross has sent out an alert that it has an "emergency need" for blood after Hurricane Sandy.

A blood drive is schedueld for Wednesday at Court House Plus, 47 Hartford Turnpike, from 1 to 6 p.m.

A Red Cross spokeswoman said that walk-ins are not only welcome, but "encouraged."
