Aug. 4, 2011: Twins Day

Two toddlers are better than one when it comes to terrorizing the Patch editor.

OK, please indulge the editor.

It's National Twins Day, according to www.louderbacks.com.

With a pair of 18-month-olds at home, it's always and adventure getting work done.

Here are five ways they have contributed to Patch news covereage over the past few days.

1. Climbed onto a table and typed what looked like swear word abbreviations into a police story, adding several minutes to the editing process.

2. Yelled while fighting over notebook paper at a news conference called by Mayor Jason McCoy, startling state Rep. Tim Ackert.

3. Grabbed the work phone, dialed Town Hall.

4. Snuck into office, changed copier settings.

5. Tag-teamed daddy in the middle of a sentence, and his spilled coffee narrowly missed company-issued equipment.
