April 18, 2011: Vacation Anyone?
There is plenty to do in town on school vacation week.
It's school vacation week. Here are five interesting places to go this week to keep the family busy.
1. Fishing, Valley Falls Park. The state Department of Environmental Protection has stocked the pond with trout.
2. Hiking and cycling, Rails to Trails system. It is one of the premiere networks in the area.
3. Rockville Public Library. The library has a variety of young people's programs.
4. School playgrounds. The are self-contained, safe and have a lot of elements on which the kids can play.
5. On Good Friday, the Rockville United Methodist Church is having its annual 20-mile trek through Rockville, Ellington, East Windsor and back.
