Spring has sprung; Rockville Downtown Association (RDA) hangs new banners in Rockville

The Rockville Downtown Association (RDA) has bid adieu to Old Man Winter and removed the nearly two dozen bright red, snowflake festooned banners that dot the downtown area around town hall.  In their place are RDA's new patriotic banners that "Welcome (people) to Historic Rockville."

The new banners will fly alongside dozens of U.S. Flags that the RDA places on poles on Union, West Main, Park, Brooklyn Streets, as well as Park Place.

"We're pleased to bring pride and patriotism to downtown Rockville," said Lisa Moody, President of the RDA.  "And we're more than excited to see Winter and the snowflake banners finally packed away!," she said.

"We hope people appreciate our efforts to celebrate our historic downtown," she concluded.
