Vernon Dunkin’ Donuts Employee Celebrates 40 Years of Service with a Smile

Mary "Margo" Okobriek of Vernon, Connecticut recently celebrated 40 years working at her beloved local coffee shop, Dunkin’ Donuts.  It is a major milestone for any occupation, and Okobriek proudly wears the badge of honor on her uniform nametag, touting her “40 Years of Experience.”

Okobriek began working at Dunkin’ Donuts when her daughter, who was 16-years-old at the time, encouraged her to apply—and she hasn’t stopped since.

On March 26, the Dunkin’ Donuts District Advisory Council honored Okobriek at their quarterly meeting.  They presented her with a plaque and commemorative clock, thanking her for her 40 years of devotion to the brand.

Franchisee Tracy Neves owns the Dunkin’ Donuts where Okobriek works, and is delighted to have Okobriek on her crew, “Margo is part of our Dunkin’ family, and she brings a smile to guests and fellow crewmembers alike every day she works here.  She is a shining example of dedication to all of us.”
