Farm Work Day to Make a Difference

Volunteer at Strong Family Farm on September 20th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Summer is nearly over and now it’s time for fall cleaning at the Strong Family Farm. Volunteer Work Day will offer specific indoor and outdoor projects for people to help out with from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 12th and anyone from the community may sign-up to join in. There are many different projects to be worked on that day and a list can be seen on our new website at http://www.strongfamilyfarm.org.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to get to know this worthwhile organization, make new friends, and make a difference while helping out at the farm. “Many hands make light work,” as the saying goes, and the farm would love to have help from members of the community. Individual and family participation is encouraged and all are welcome to bring a dish for a “pot luck” lunch to share and stay beyond the scheduled work time.

Any amount of time spent at the Strong Family Farm is sure to be an enjoyable, worthwhile experience and your help will be well appreciated. All Volunteer Work Days will be held rain or shine and refreshments will be served. Please call the office with your availability, 860-874-9020 and leave a message or email: info@strongfarm.org.
