Eagle Scout Builds New Chicken Coop

Strong Family Farm chickens are thrilled with their new chicken coop built as an Eagle Scout project by Erich Martin of Ellington.  The original coops were built in the late 1920s by Norman Strong using the University of Connecticut designs.  Erich used these designs to recreate the deteriorating coop for the farm.  Kloter Farms helped moved the coop to the farm on April 23rd, just in time for the growing chicks to move in.
