Seven Connecticut Schools Benefit from Bob’s Discount Furniture Donation Program

Company Enhances Education and Arts Programs Through
Outreach Giving

MANCHESTER, Conn. Bob’s Discount Furniture today announced that it will donate funds to seven schools in Connecticut in support of arts and education programs. These funds are made possible by customer donations to

collection jars located in the cafes found in every Bob’s store, which offer free refreshments (including gourmet coffee and fresh-baked cookies) to all Bob’s shoppers.

Each of these Connecticut schools is receiving $1,000 checks this month:

• The Friendship School, Waterford

• John G. Gilmartin Elementary School, Waterbury

• William J. Johnston Middle School, Colchester

• Jonathan Law High School, Milford

• Pomperaug Elementary School, Southbury

• Roxbury Elementary School, Stamford

• Vernon Center Middle School, Vernon

“We value the community support we receive at all of our locations, and are thrilled to help enhance education and arts programs in these areas,” said Cathy Poulin, public relations director, Bob’s Discount Furniture. “We encourage donations in all of our stores, and distribute this money to worthy schools and community organizations across the
Northeast and mid-Atlantic states.”

Every month, Bob’s randomly selects seven schools in the communities near its stores and makes a donation of $1,000. This month, Bob’s Discount Furniture is supporting education and arts programs in Connecticut with the cash awards. Bob’s has donated money to hundreds of schools over the past 20 years. Previous recipients have used the
donations for such things as purchasing new art and classroom supplies, funding student activity groups and going on field trips.

You could set up a feeding station with a trail-cam ; you can see if he's coming around. TrailRead More cams run from $60 to $200 - but I have a "cheapy" $80 that does night time and day time shots and is fantastic, so the cheaper cams are very good.

Go out late a "night", when it is very quite, call his name. I have found many cats thisRead More way, because house cats don't like a lot of noise and are very afraid. Your cat is hiding, will be afraid to come out. Look in areas were there is woods, secluded areas.
