A cleanup day has been scheduled for Sept. 29, and volunteers are needed to help spruce up the old barn and out buildings before capital improvements can begin.

A short orientation and farm tour will get the day started off before the work begins.

Volunteers are asked to bring tools, brooms, weed-whackers, gloves and/or paint brushes. The work day is also an opportunity for people who have experience with agricultural antiques to help catalog and date the farm’s inventory, farm, the family said.

All volunteers are asked to bring something to share for a pot luck lunch on the farm.
