Vernon celebrated Easter Friday with the 66th annual Henry Park Easter Egg Hunt, as hundreds of children between the ages of two and eight frantically hunted for chocolate eggs throughout the park's playing fields, including three coveted Golden Eggs.

The celebration was sponsored by Ticket Network, First New England Federal Credit Union, and the town of Vernon's Parks and Recreation Department. 

Mayor Jason McCoy was in attendance, as of course was the guest of honor: the Easter Bunny.
