Bugs, Rabbits ... and a few Audis Too at VW Show
VW fans show off their wheels at Vernon dealership.
Sunny weather greeted the VW and Audi fans that gathered for the 10th-annual Langan Autogroup/Wasserwerks Show-N-Go, which took place at the Langan Volkswagen dealership on Hartford Turnpike in Vernon on Sunday.
The show featured a great mix of Volkswagens old and new, along with a healthy sprinkling of Audis. The VW/Audi aficionados were treated to a live DJ, some great free food (always a winner) and several vendors.
The Best Of Show award went to English-born Joe Mehers with his beautiful Audi S4. Mid America Motor Works, suppliers of air- and water-cooled Volkswagen parts, sponsored Joe’s trophy.

Wasserwerks is Southern New England’s VW/Audi club and has about 30 members. The club’s next major show presence will be at the 23rd Annual Litchfield Bug-In on Father’s Day, June 19th, at the Harwinton Fairgrounds. The show runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
